  A school bus from the Davenport public schools was hit by a car. The car & bus accident happened on Tuesday in winter road conditions on West 49th Street near Ditmer Street. The driver of the car was driving on a slushy West 49th Street, down a hill and around a curve, when her car slid into oncoming traffic and hit a Davenport school bus head-on.
